Mr Burston has more than 30 years of top-level experience in Western Australian and international mining. He has held senior management and Board positions with some of WA’s largest and most successful mining organisations including Fortescue Metals Group, Hamersley Iron and Portman Limited. He has had first hand experience managing gold projects in the Kalgoorlie region, including as CEO of Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Limited as operator of the “Superpit”. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and completed the Insead Management Paris and the Harvard Advanced Management Program in Boston. Mr Burston was awarded the Western Australian Citizen of the Year (category of Industry and Commerce) in 1992, and Order of Australia (General Division) in 1993.

Ms. Carr has been appointed as Company Secretary of Carrick Gold Limited. Ms. Carr has, for the past three years, been responsible for the preparation of the Company’s tenement and mineral exploration reports for submission to the Department of Industry and Resources and quarterly activities reports for submission to the Australian Securities Exchange. Ms. Carr holds a bachelor of science degree (double major) (Murdoch) , a graduate diploma in education (Notre Dame), and a master’s degree in teaching from Queensland University of Technology.

Dr. Martin received his primary degree and doctorate in geochemistry from the University of Manchester. He spent two years as a research scientist with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and he has served in the Economic Policy Section of the Australian Foreign Service. During a period in which he worked with the United Nations Environment Programme, he helped establish the Global Environmental Monitoring System. In 1979 he became a Research Fellow with the Rockefeller Foundation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.

Dr. Martin has acted as an independent consultant in many mine and exploration assessments and has provided reports in numerous merger and takeover situations. He has an extensive list of publications on mining, exploration, and mineralogy to his credit. A former banking advisor and director of mining companies and capital corporations, Dr. Martin has a great deal of experience in company direction and management and has consulted widely to companies since his return to Australia.

Mr. Gillon, principal of the legal firm of Lawton Gillon, has been in legal practice for c. 30 years and has been legal advisor for Carrick Gold Limited since its inception in 2002. He has been a director of many public companies and is currently on the Boards of Millennium Minerals Limited and Red River Resources Limited.
